1. I was born in Minnesota, raised in Wisconsin, and now live in Western North Carolina. 
2. Gray wolf.
3. Fiction. Long fiction. Short fiction. In-the-middle fiction. I'm a sucker for fantasy.
4. I'm taking the deep breaths before I actually start writing a real novel and stick to finishing it.
5. Franny and Zooey by J.D. Salinger, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Kinda Outta Luck - Lana Del Rey
6. I play the didgeridoo quite passably.
