Macro and Micro Reviews

As Constructive Critics we aim to provide each other with macro-reviews over micro-reviews.

A micro-review is a short and complimentary message that boosts the writer's ego, but does not offer suggestions for improvement or show a new perspective.

Ideally a macro-review requires a significant amount of time and effort to put together.
1- Print the piece.                                                                                                           2 - Read it once to get 'a feel' for it and answer the first page of general questions on the Constructive Critics' Story Critique Checklist.                                                                                                                        3 - Read it again (and again if you are so inclined) to catch technical errors and find areas for improvement.                                                    4 - Write and submit your macro-review. (Macro-reviews typically give you double digit points).

I realize a macro-review is a lot of effort, but think how psyched you will be to recieve them!  If you do not have the time for macro-reviews you can still contribute with shorter, but still constructive, reviews.

Long Live Macro-Reviews!

I get that the formatting is askew but I already spent 5 minutes futzing with it and could be doing more helpful things like reading my group members' pieces!
