Rating: Mostly teens but few mature (Depends on what level consider as mature. Writerscafe maturity rating is very harsh.        Favourite piece I wrote and Why: I just absolutely adore the short romance story I wrote called "The Meaning of Life". I love it because it addresses many different feelings and emotions that a teen can and will have in his/her lifetime, I find that the story tends to pull at one's heartstrings.
       Favorite character I wrote : hmm... Well there are a few characters from my fan fiction that I created that I like, there is Aron -a nature loving, calm, loving and caring elfin Prince. I also love Azazel - a stylish, evil, ruthless 21 year old man posing as a 14 year old (long story).
       Favourite Quote : well tbh I love a bunch of quotes, but I'll put 3 of my favourites. #1: when I was 5 years old my mom always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up. I wrote down "happy". They told me I didn't understand the assignment and I told them they didn't understand life.

       Why I joined this group: Well I was part of this huge fanfic website for the School for Good and Evil (and I'm still on it a lot), and I really loved sharing my work, but we could only post our fan fiction. So I decided to look for another website where I could post all my other poetry and such. I just found this website and decided to go with it so yeah!

I love fairy tales and Glass Lullaby was partly inspired by Hans Christian Anderson's 'The Steadfast Tin Soldier' (one of my favourites) and Broken Unicorns was my retelling of 'Beauty and the Beast' where I wrote an ending that I felt wasn't a cop-out and was more suited to the moral lesson of looking beyond surfaces to the beauty within. In Glass Lullaby, I got to try writing a magical tragedy that I hope captivates the imagination and sucker punches you in the heart. Broken Unicorns is where I had a chance to explore Middle Eastern folklore and beliefs (drawing upon my Muslim background) and write a fairytale like story with a happy ending that I tried my best to make feel earned because of what I put my characters through. Favorite character I wrote : That would probably have to be Cael Glass from Glass Lullaby. I enjoyed writing a character whose tragedies, crushed dreams, loneliness, and longing isolates him and makes him into less than what he could be.
