Romancing Suicide

I was wondering what it is that fascinates people so much about suicide. I've noticed an underlying obsession with it in the titles of so many writers works on the site. What the hell is the damn fascination with suicide?

I don't believe it's really a fascination...more like a mental exploration of the option. I believe that every one considers it constantly, whether it's serious or not. Artists just seem to be able to express it more openly[?] than 'normal' people.

Although I appreciate the openness of your comment, I have to say that I wholeheartedly disagree with you. I don't believe everyone thinks about the option constantly. This idea implies the world is suicidal. Under these circumstances it would seem  difficult to explain the event of the gerth of the mass of people struggling at whatever cost to ensure the event of self preservation.

It crosses the mind of [all] people when something, anything goes wrong. Maybe they don't consider it seriously, but they all think about it for a period of time.

I know for a fact that when I disagree with you that I am not wrong because "they all" told me that you are incorrect.
