Sheila Kline.................   I am a Poetess of Multiplicity Grabbing arcs of electricity! I write verses of sensual love, And of Celestial Heaven above! I try to think in different ways So your attention wil not sway!! Topics of poetry are so diverse; Millions of thoughts in the universe! I think I am more of a story teller but poet is what I claim. I write of joy, life, love heartache and pain.
I write from the heart simple and free, yes I think this describes me.

I always wanted to sing. Rhythm and tone always seemed to fail me. Rejected by the choir. Voice lessons didn't take. I wandered lost and lonely for many years. Reading the songs I wanted to sing. Until one day I found my voice stronger and truer than I had ever imagined. Simple words, nothing complicated in the melody; but somehow soaring in clear blue skies.

   

I am a nature writer and a dreamer, I dream of the desert and write, I see a wildflower and write, I hear the voice of a songbird and all these things inspire me to write.  I dream of the desert, the world speaks and I listen.

Compulsive writing for over 50 years.  Books filled with notes, phrases, observations, and hundreds of completed and uncompleted poems.  Mostly for self, sometimes for challenge, sometimes made to share.  In my 60’s I’ve realized it’s a kind of legacy.  If my 10 grandchildren have 2 children each, there will surely be one interested in this body of work. -------------------------- deep inside I have a pail filled with loose words, tight phrases, chaotic thoughts, frivolous fantasies, disorganized dreams.
there I collect all words, large and small, humble and grandiose, meaningful and meaningless, rarely-used and overly-used, passive and angst-filled.
a mysterious marvelous processing machine reaches into this bulging resource pail. continuously arranging, rearranging,  selecting, and discarding,  searching for order, meaning, beauty, and hope.
rhythm and rhyming are the tools,  yet it makes no noise. associations that often seem random, and may appear hopelessly complex, pull together and form thoughts,  of otherwise stark simplicity.

My poet is a pissed pimple-faced young raging
anarcho-primitivist drag king sceaming
demanding your attention to the genocide, etc.
My poet is not a good person.
My poet will relish at the apocalypse-
the day it says, 'I told you so.'

I'm a poet on the train, 'Im a poet in my brain.  My unabashed rhymes fill my head with lines.  Some find their way to ether and papers, some are lost forever gone up  in vapors.
The rhymes they come like spattered seasons, Shattered glass paving and endless road I'm a poet of conscience and poet of reason A poet of song, of body and soul...

I'm an impulse poet .... and I almost only write poems when I'm sad, pissed or just in a crappy mood .... I also almost only write about things that happened to me, things that made me feel that way, like a kind of vent I need to have.  

I'm a poet who enjoys connecting with the reader in a meaningful way, and always having something to say. I like to elude to the positive and refreshing states of mind and keep it feeling fresh and flowing. I enjoy finding new ways to say something and stretching the meanings and usages of words. Entertainment value is important to me also.

I'm a poet who sees, learns , and writes. I undertsand many things but I seek to be understood. i'm a poet to represnt. I'm an ambassador.
