Bad A*s Poets Talking S**t Forum Idea for our next writing vent..

I was sitting here trying to come up with a creative new idea for myself, something to push my writing forward a bit more. . .I had an ephiphany (I have many of these and most often they prove quite useless, BUT I think I'm on to something) We all sit back and watch our favorite celebrities, read about long gone heroes, cheer for our favorite sports icon. . .Everyone has someone that interests them, someone they find more intriguing then the rest. I propose that for our next assignment we close our eyes and imagine what it would be like to be that person, write from that persons point of view . . .Whether it's Marilyn Monroe, King Tut, Wayne Gretzky, Eminem and so on. . .It would give us a rare and unique glimpse into eachothers lives, because there is nothing more revealing then the people you "idolize" . . .Any thoughts?

This is a wonderful idea. The thought of streching our words to fit those icons we often refer to and emulate.

Life as Eminem... lol. I did this big project on him...months of just sitting there reading his words and listening to him all night long... in the end I don't think i've listened to rap music that much ever again...

Hmmm... I think I need to think about who else I idolize.

Great idea. I've already tried doing a similar thing with my Portrait of a Director series, but this might give me an oppurtunity to go for someone else.
