I know not everyone is posting their writing here, and not everyone wants to be reviewed.  If you do want fellow members and the general cafe population to review your work, please post it in the group.  Instructions are on the homepage.  Add a post to this thread to give people a nudge to your work.

I'm actively seeking reviews for my new novel, Untitled (Valmur) -- and, hey, what better way to show your appreciation for this group than to read and review the work of the darn fool who agreed to set it up? ;-)  I always repay reviews here (unless requested not to.) My work's what they call high fantasy -- the present novel is definitely meant to be on the Grand Opera side of things in terms of plot (murder, rape, revenge, in an escalating spiral.)

So this is my first post to the group . . . sorry it's BSP!  But still actively seeking reviews of my excerpt, though.  I know they don't really matter to the ABNA, but I find them useful.  The excerpt is just a taste, I do know that.  Still, there are a few things that have popped up more than once, so I've decided to par down the asides just a bit, and that gave me an idea about a spot where I can really turn up the tension later on in the manuscript.  Plus, the reviews are good sources for front and back blurbs (you can bet the PW review will show up on the front cover, and several others will make it into the inside front.)

Anyway, if anybody here hasn't already reviewed Nasty, please feel free to do so.  A warning:  it is intended to be over the top.  You should probably know that going in.
