Write a story, read a story. Why should just poetry get all the glory. A lot of very talented writers on here have stories that they would like to be read, and reviewed. Sometimes this is difficult because it takes more time to read a story. This group is for story tellers who would like to have people read there stories, and who like to read others stories. You don't have to write strictly stories but the writing posted in the group should only be stories. Other then that post any genre you like.
The storytelling gift is innate: one has it or one doesn't. But style is at least partly a learned thing: one refines it by looking and listening and reading and practice - by work.
