100 % Review Forum HELP

Can anyone help? I have a 10,000 word start to a novel to write for entry to a competition. I need someone to help me sharpen it and make it readable. It is called "Where to begin" it is about an abused child and her life. Can anyone help me to catch the judges eye. I would be eternally grateful. x
