Need a FREE Proofreading?

Hello, my name is Rebecca Lynne, and I am a freelance proofreader. My specialty is in theatre scripts and sheet music (Finale system-based), but I am looking to expand my CV to include both fiction and nonfiction. As such, I would be happy to proofread a chapter of anything you are currently working on, free of charge. Please submit selections no less than ten pages and no more than thirty, so that I canguarantee their return, with corrections, within 48 hours. I can easily accept submissions made in Microsoft Office or by a hard copy via post, fax, email, or iDisk. I ensure that all submissions and their content will be kept entirely confidential. In return, please allow me to add your name and the title of your work to my CV. Thank you- Rebecca Lynne

It is good of you to offer your services for free. Many writers don't have the kind of money it takes to get a good proofread of their work before they either submit to a publisher, or self-publish their book. I have a book that is in the send draft called, The History of Sackets Harbor, NY. Obviously it is non-fiction and I have been trying desperately to get reviews of it. So many groups are devoted to critiquing each others work but I haven't seen much action within these groups and it is frustrating.

I am thinking of taking you up on your offer. Let me know the best way to get a hold of you and send you something. Thank you!
