The possibility appears sometimes, in my dreams.

I know it can’t happen. ___________.

That I dare not ask.

But sometimes, I think, ___________

days, that maybe, just maybe, ___________

And ___________.

I know it can’t happen. {I can't risk going home early after having a blowout.}

That I dare not ask.

But sometimes, I think, {maybe I won't mistrust a fart}

days, that maybe, just maybe, {I won't get explosive, gut-busting diarrhea when I eat discount burritos.}

And {that I won't need spend my night endlessly wiping away what once brought joy}

*takes a bow*
*standing ovation explodes throughout the crowd*

*roses thrown at my feet as I take yet another bow*
