I was on my way back from the bathroom. The keynote speaker had turned out to be a bust, so I had gone to the john to play with my laptop wifi. Nothing interesting in the forums on my website. I think my fans had forgotten about me since I had not been participating.

Leaving the toilet at the exact moment I did turned out to be a mistake. I ran smack dab into the prep and the pyscho having it out in the hallway in front of the elevators. She sounded angry about something, and the prep was making soothing noises to calm her down.

I didn't know what to do so I hopped into the convesation. I was in a bad mood again.

"You two should get a room. This is a writers' conference."

I hoped to hell that they didn't recognize me.
