About Me

Paul's Latest news:
Returning to the cafe after a hiatus of sorts. Look for my 2 latest "books' to be featured here in a chapter by chapter format: The YA manga inspired Vampire romance, "Vampire Boys Of Summer", and the sleepy southern romantic drama, "Orchard House & The Heart Of Everything". If you read a chapter in the days ahead, please take the time to let me know if you like it or not, or post a rating/review. Sometimes a writer needs to be pushed into his story to get it done ;)

In other news, Resurrection Diaries is now available for the nook, kindle, and ipad for only 99 cents....oh excuse me, i mean FREE! What a steal! Please help support an indie author and download your copy :) I really want to get more books out in this format but I need your financial support to do so. I still have a limited number of autographed hard copies of the book, so hit me up if you're interested in one. Thanks!

+ + + +

The dead girl stood in my office. You would think I'd be used to such things by now, but thankfully she wasn't too frightening a corpse...

Thus begins, "Advocate For The Dead", just one of the stories of ghosts and other haunted things by Virginia writer Paul D. Aronson. When he's not writing ghost stories, he dabbles in poetry and verse. The poetry, ranging from domestic issues to J.R.R. Tolkien tributes have been featured in such publications as The Minas Tirith Evening-Star, and the web-published anthology, Turning Tears Into Words. Also a lover of the outdoors, photography, good rock and jazz music, Japanese and Korean pop/rock, anime and manga, and saving the best for last, his beautiful wife Heather, and their 1 yr old son Gabriel.

Hi Paul! I miss reviewing your novels, chapter by chapter! I really hope life is being good to you. I've been meaning to pick up a copy of Resurrection Diaries since I'm an Amazon regular, but I think I'd prefer an autographed copy. :) You'll be getting an email from me, Mr. Published Man!

Hey Paul! Just thinking about you and checking how you're doing. ;-) I sent someone your way who was wanting a parody done of The Departed<.i>--James Watts, I think his name is. Hope you don't mind, but as far as parodies go...well, I fondly remember all the distractions from work Lord of the Disks gave me. LOL

Hope you are doing well. ;-)

Yesterday I met the son of a bookstore owner. His son is two, terribly. He was clacking on an old Remington typewriter. I told him I have the same one, with more keys and paper in it. I asked him if he was writing a story. He said yes.

A few minutes later, the two year old shirt yanked me and said "Here's a copy"

how f*****g awesome is that?
