i write late at night...i am tortured until i write...usually self inflicted thumb tacks tooth picks salt water television...i have another account from last year that i haven't figured out how to delete...it is g r gordon...i am moving some of my old poems over...i read and write in binges...Nicole Krauss, The History of Love is my current favorite...i also read a lot of the books my daughters read...and The Brothers Karamazov, Lolita and One Hundred Years of Solitude...for poets i like Walt Whitman, WB Yeats, Robert Frost, Richard Brautigan, Robinson Jeffers, and William Carlos Williams...short stories by Flannery O'Connor, Eudora Welty, Ernest Hemingway and O Henry...and i love baseball
