About Me
I grew up in south Louisiana about an hour below New Orleans and I spent most my life there. I always had this feeling that society was not right for me. Because I didn't have money because I was small I got picked on and beat up a lot. Not a cool thing. But I also noticed that the education system was backwards. I thought we had the right to a free education yet for some reason it seemed everything was being payed for money for this money for that. Mostly what was I even learning. When will this be put to use and why are they lying to me. I have common sense i know half of what they were feeding me about how things are are not the way they are around me. So when I was in tenth grade I started writing raps to project these feelings. Only problem there was i had no form for staying on beat within 16 bars or writing hooks. But regardless I kept writing. Then a friend of mine introduced me to some cds by a poet named Taalam Acey and thats when i got into the spoken word and over the years i have been developing in style and word play. Not to mention traveling around working ever since Katrina hit. At that time i lived on the Mississippi coast and I miss being there and miss everyone I grew up with but I have really had some experiences since then and hopefully I will continue.
