About Me
I am defined by by being a seventh generation Australian who grew up in post WWII Sydney in times that were, in many ways, simpler than now. I have lived predominantly by the sea and spent 35 years as a volunteer lifesaver yet worked extensively in the outback. I cannot remember a time that I haven't written poetry as a reaction to a happenstance, usually of the humorous kind. Australians know the style as "Bush poetry". Not exactly W B Yeats or Wordsworth but good enough for a laugh at the pub.
