About Me
I wrote my first piece at the age of 10 and it was published in a country newsletter. I went on to write for my high school newspaper and discovered journaling as well as adventure and creating a family. I went back to school at the age of 27 where I took advantage of all opportunities to explore and enhance myself and improve my writing skillsand I was published again in a college anthology. I attended a romance novel workshop in Santa Barbara, California and have taken community education writing classes over the years. Family has been big in my life but I have continued writing and several of my Letters to the Editor have been published. I have yet to embark on a real writing career (where I actually get paid!) but hopefully there will be enough time left for that; writers live twice and I am still doing a lot of living. I hope to write my memoirs eventually. I love art, music, literature, movies, the outdoors, politics and I have many, many other interests. I read everything, being naturally curious, and write every day. At the end, I hope I will still be saying not oh I took the safe, easy way but "What a ride!".
