and a temper like an african bumble bee,
he may be small for his size,
but he makes up for it in curiousity

an agedboulder of a face,
with deep crevices and hair-line cracks,
sunken rheumatic eyes,
that have somehow retained their blind kindness..

one snap,
clean and sharp,
whistles across the night
where gun shots have been quieter,
a whimper,
just short of sobbing,
escape..
