I am of Latin descent. I am a product of the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and still producing. I started writing in the 7th grade by 9th grade it started to inclulde alot of poetry. I wrote about love, society, musical influences, the beach, drugs and poems of hope. My Dad committed suicide when I was 20, I wrote about that. Then I really slowed down. I got married, had three wonderful children. I had written a few poems during that period of life. Divorced my wife after ten years of marriage. I started writing again, I guess to deal with the pain. Writing poetry has always been my way of escaping this place we call life.
