Amanda Grae

so... to get things straight here, i'm Amanda Grae... for several years i have been writing under the pen name of Fiona Wellings... but i recently discovered that i actually love my real name... haha

to explain my pen name... i go through these obsessions with names, where i'll go through all of my stories and poems and everything i've ever written and change all of the main characters' names to whichever i happen to be obsessed with at the current time... for the longest time, i was obsessed with the name Fiona... i actually thought about legally changing my own name, but then i discovered that Amanda fits me best...

and to get another thing straight... all of my stories (most of which i have not yet posted on here-- i'm hoping to get them up as soon as possible) that you may see are posted with the original names i gave the characters... i don't want people to get confused... i don't write sequels or series...

so... about me... i'm young... too young to write many say, but i believe anyone can write... and be good at it... i love to write (oh isn't that obvious?) i've been writing ever since i could hold a pencil... i love to dance... i've been taking lessons since i was two... i'm still taking lessons (you can never stop learning)... and i've also been teaching dance for about three years... i'm very sad to say that i will be quitting dance this coming november... i won't be able to continue as i am going away to college... YAY! i've survived the easy years... haha

i love music... i love meeting new people... i'm very friendly... i'm pretty much always happy to some extent... i don't appear to be extremely intelligent in person... but i'm not one of those people who deliberately acts dumb just to get attention either... i only show my intelligence when engaged in deep conversation... I try not to brag too much... i'm one of those people that gets embarrassed when someone acknowledges my accomplishments... i'm just me... it's not always easy to explain... all i can say is what i already have... and i love art... i plan to major in art therapy when i go to college... i want to work with crazy people... they make me feel real and whole...

anyway... if you would like to get to know me better, talk to me... i've heard it's the best way to meet new people... hahaha...
