My name is Corey Johnson and I enjoy writing poems to apply growth to myself. I've always wondered," what constitutes a good life in this world?" "Should a person conform to society's expectations or follow what they feel in their heart?" Personally, I prefer the latter because you have full control over who you are and the path you choose. As a survivor of Chrome's disease and Ulcerative Colitis, I been fighting to keep going in life for the last two years. I'm on my way to recovery and things are looking up. To anyone struggling out there, I wish you well. I don't have to know someone to tell them that they shouldn't give up on themselves. I always say life is worth living because your purpose is greater than you realize. I hope everyone in this community will enjoy my writing.
