About Me

Like 6 months ago I used to have maybe a 30 poems on here, a few short stories, a couple essays, and an epic poem. Then the guy who manages this site deleted ALL my s**t by accident (along with many others, I hear) then a few weeks later my computer crashed. So all my writing:a 6,000 word essay on the meaning of the human soul, 2+ years of poetry that's been edited, revised and excruciated, my only short stories and atleast 1 essay that I was quite fond of...f*****g gone forever. However, I have been writing in the mean time, 1 short story that im really proud of and atleaast 10 poems and I also realized that I have MANY of my previouis poems memorized. So it's not all lost. And anyway, it was way back in my progression as a writer so i'm not exactly crying myself to sleep at night over losing my magnum opus. In the interim I have written a short novel, whcih I think is f*****g great and I'm very proud of it.That will probably be the only thing I post on this site. Read it and give me honest criticism. I'd like to get it published but pleasing to the writer and able to get through an intern and an editor with their heads fitted snugly up their a*s' is not the same thing. I'll pay my own money if need be and self-publish it and then use pages on either side of the novella as advertising to recoop publishing expenses. I don't give a f**k. Just please help me make this book the best it can be.

Esoteric Theosophical Philosophy

The truth within your consciousness is like the horizon that recedes before you. As you journey towards your inner quest, in the direction of the leading edge of your belief acceptance. And your knowledge and understanding of the prevailing path grows, the next ascending possibility will always beckon you forth. For wisdom brings together within the truth of your existence, your souls essence, in which is attained by your own experience. Pursue your goal of achieving the truth within your reality of consciousness, in the most direct manner. The paradox is of course, is that you are both the voyager and the pathway; the treasure that you seek is most often slumbering within you or undeveloped in your quest. Its always within you and has always been and always will be. It has not been hidden from your sight, for the most part, its likely you have hidden from it, so wake it up, face it, and accept it, than use it, by becoming it.

Not sure exactly how you did it but you certainly nailed it on the head. Your review of THE SAILOR AND THE STAR was bingo. You're skilled at reading between the lines.

Thank you for seeing.

Thanks. I made the changes you initally suggested and then reworked it a bit to return it to waht it was in the first place. The most significant change was the title. When I wrote "Britches" the first time I thought people would misread that and think I was saying... well you get it. But I finally decided I don't need to compromise my piece for folks who read too fast. Anyway, "Britches" is just right for this one. And your suggestions helped quite a bit. In fact they were the catalyst for the other changes that straightened this one out. So thanks for reading it and taking the time to speak up. I appreciate it!

Hey Ernie, thanx for the honest review, but like I said, it wasn't poem just a thought that needed dumping and will be deleted. No intention of it being a poem but a chance to get some other thoughts into my head my removing the crappy ones ~L~

again thanx for being honest!!

Ha, thanks. Yeah, bosses are just great, huh? I had one who asked me what I wanted to be called and I said "Jim. Or James, I really don't care which. I'm called both by different people." And she decided that was funny somehow and called me Jim-James. It ate at my soul.
