Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Emmy, and I've been on this site for a long, long time. There was an admitted period of absence, and for that I apologize, but I am back now and ready to get back to the thing I love the most: writing.

It is utterly fascinating to see where my priorities were when I was younger versus where they are now. When I first started on this website, I was about 15 years old. Now, ten years later (wow!), I want to shift my focus to religion and its role in the world at large. While I myself am a religious individual, I can't help but notice the increasing epidemic of religion turning a blind eye to their own faults and failures. The way I see it...you can't be close to G-d without having a relationship with honesty, and it is unfortunately a trait that seems to be nonexistent these days.

So lets do something taboo: lets talk about it.
