About Me

My name is Emily, and I love to write. I started with writing fictional short stories when I was eleven, but since then have expanded to poetry, a novel, song lyrics, screenplay writing, and inspirational essays.

Although most of my songwriting is serious, lately i've had the hobby of writing comedy songs and creating goofy music videos! Below is my Tribute to Tea... my favorite beverage. Please let me know what you think!

well, it's not just that we dont know what God is about or how He works that makes faith necessary. I think it's more that nobody can prove that there even IS a God. As for being in awe of God more than being terrified of Him or fearing Him, I can see where you'r line of thought comes from. I should quickly tell you a little about my story. I was an atheistup till about two years ago. no big event or tragedy happened in my life to make faith in God a necessity, but I suppose all those years I didn't belileve, I desperatly wanted to. I was too busy looking at faith from an intellectual perspective, and in a way I felt sorry for people who had blind faith in a God that intellect says doesn't exist. now that is a whole giant discussion in itself, I realize, but i guess my point is that while i felt sorry for, well, people like you, i also deep down felt sorry for myself. as my faith has grown, which it is still doing, i have learned to look at christianity and religion in general with less of that intellectual attitude and more of a "well, the Lord works in mysterious ways" mindframe. o.k. wow, sorry for the huge comment. more later, if you want.

Thanks so much for your review, it means alot to me when people just take a few minutes of their life to read some poetry (which I think should be required for everyone).

yeah I really doubted that someone with you'r faith would end up down there.
