I am bad at these boxes.
Bad.

Writing contemporary fiction, mainly because it's not clever enough to call it Literary fiction.
I'm trying to write fiction around those in their twenties. We're still up to our ankles in our childhood but we've left the surreal world of 'teenage.' Suddenly all our problems matter and our actions make a difference.

I like books that are funny and light, whilst also being poignant and smart. Anything that causes an existential crisis and I'm so there!

I love reading Tolkien, Murakami, J.K. Rowling (HP Generation, hands up), Laura Whitcomb, Christopher Paolini...I'm sure I'll add to this

Directly influenced by Rainbow Rowell, John Green, Stephen Chbosky (he writes anxiety like no other), Vonnegut, Neil Gaiman
