I am a 5th grade teacher who has always carried around the dream of one day writing a great YA novel. Spending so much time with children every day at work, plus I have two of my own at home, has me often thinking in terms of a child's/teen's world. I have a few ideas, but have yet to get the courage to put them on the page. I am taking my first steps in joining this group as well as a teen lit group on myspace, to get me excited about writing.
