"I sometimes think it would be fun to write in notebooks or journals so I buy one and then just fill in the first page or two. Then I forget about them. So now I have a huge stack of them. So instead of buying a new one when I feel like it, I just rip out the first page or two and then start writing on the third or fourth (which are now the first or second). I think I will just keep doing that until none of the notebooks have any pages left. Then I'll start buying new ones again. I like to write short stories and screenplays."

"I find writing to be demeaning, upsetting, frustrating, hurtful, miserable and a burden. I'll never be able to get rid of the constant ideas that form while listening to a song, reading or watching a movie. By admitting that I'm also admitting that I'll never be free of the 'burden' of writing. Which means I'll never be free of
the demeaning, upsetting, frustrating, hurtful, miserable moments that come along with that. But I must ask, if you take away all those feelings I talked about are you truly here anymore? I don't want to find out, so I'm gonna keep them for as long as I can."
