About the Author


Rev. W.S. Polk, Jr. is the pen name of Elder Joseph B. Howard, Sr. He is a third generation steel worker. Born amidst the red haze and dust of the steel mills in Gary, Indiana, he enjoyed writing as a child. A product of the Gary Public Schools he later joined the United States Navy Submarine Force. He is a former pastor of the Sovereign Grace C.O.G.I.C. and an evangelist for the Church of God in Christ, INC. He has written several works including, The Call & The Cold War, My Duty and My Destiny, Practical Apologetics for the Church of God in Christ, and The Reformed Perspective of a Church of God in Christ Theologian. He currently resides in Racine, Wisconsin with his lovely wife Treva. They are the owners of Jo�Tre Inspirational Books LLC. Elder Howard's formal education includes a Bachelors in Adult Education, a Masters in Biblical Studies and an earned Doctorate in Christian Education. Dr. Howard has two adult sons, Joseph II, and Timothy. He also has one grandson,

Thanks for the review on Letter from a Mistress. And to answer your question. I'm not sure if the husband ever loved the Mistress or not. I was just writing, thinking outside of the box. Wondering what it must be like to be a Mistress...I'm far from ever being that...but it's nice to be able to write about whatever and enter anothers mind...ya know...
