Hello Fellow Writers! Ah the keyboard, black as an oreo with white squiggles, lines and curves that one's fingers just lick off greedily, to fatten computer pages until finally the delicious ending arrives, and the devourer rests, satiated...for the a week or a- month Writing can be addictive, but, a wonderful addiction. So I found when I specialized in English and French literatures, (and History) wrote books on an American War Hero and the place he lived in when he was in France and saving thousands of people from the encroaching Vichy police and later the Nazi. Addictive when I let my imagination get the better of me and those delightful Apple Powerbook oreos seem to do what they want with my fingers and who knows what will come out! Addictive when I sit before a French page that struts its concise and somewhat precious elegance forth to challenge its English sister that likes to take certain liberties with syntax in the interest of getting the point across and being understood.
