About Me

www.myspace.com/darkhorse1804

It's hard -- impossible, maybe -- to effectively describe oneself using words. You'd have to be boring and completely two-dimensional in order to sum up your entire existence in a paragraph.

...I am neither boring, nor two-dimensional.

My name is Donald Dakota Devnet Darkhorse. The rest is up to you to figure out...

What is a "darkhorse" you may ask? Well, a darkhorse is someone who succeeds when predicted to fail; someone who looks at fear right in the face and spits on it, beats the undefeated, and completes the impossible. I had a 2% chance of being born, and the fact that I am alive right now leads me to believe that I am here for a reason and for a purpose, and if I wasn't, then I wouldn't have been here in the first place or still be here now. In just 20 short years, i have seen the skies in their brightest form of blue and their darkest shade of gray. I have gone through so much....some good, some not so good...and the fact that I am still standing after all the times I've been knocked down makes me realize that I am here for more than merely the point of existing. There is a simple, yet powerful quote i live my life by: "I Will Touch the Sun or I Will Die Trying", and the symbolism and meaning behind this quote is beyond words. All of my goals will be achieved, and all of my deepest dreams will become reality, no matter what obstacles are placed in my way. So...what is a darkhorse you may still ask? I am a true darkhorse, and "I'll stare straight into the sun and I won't close my eyes till I understand or go blind."

Donnie Darkhorse's debut book of poetry, titled "A Scar is Born", contains 50 poems and is avaliable for sale all over the world now on amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, and borders.com

Hey, welcome...I've just scanned over all of your poetry...I must say, I am liking it...I've shelved all four so that I can read them again before I ''formally'' comment...good stuff...
