Dimitris P. Kraniotis is an award-winning Greek poet and the author of 4 poetry books: "Traces" (Greece, 1985), "Clay Faces" (Greece, 1992), "Fictitious Line" (Greece, 2005) and "Dunes" (Romania, 2007). He was born in 1966 in Stomio, a coastal town in central Greece. He studied at the Medical School of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece. He lives and works as a Medical Doctor Specialist in Internal Medicine in Larissa, Greece. He is Doctor of Literature (Litt.D.), Founder & President of World Poets Society (W.P.S), Editor of 3 online poetic libraries, Editorial Director of the medical magazine "Hippocrates", Member of the Board of Directors of the Larissa Medical Association and Larissa Medical Society and Member of the Hellenic Literary Society, International Society of Greek Writers, Greek Society of Medical Writers, World Academy of Arts and Culture (WAAC), World Congress of Poets (WCP), United Poets Laureate International (UPLI), International Writers and Artists Association (IWA), Union Mondiale des Ecrivains Medecins (UMEM), International Society of Poets, Academy of American Poets, Poetry Society of America & Poetas del Mundo (Chile). He has won a number of international awards for his poetry which has been published in many countries around the World.
