I am a development professional presently working with the Government of West Bengal, India as a Joint Secretary. I have active interest in development, especially social development. I have worked with UNICEF as a Program Communication Officer. My areas of interest are participation in development, participatory training, health, education, water & sanitation, nutrition, prison reforms, electoral reforms, gender in development, gender budgeting etc. I do write occasionally on these issues. I have of late started writing a blog where I have started publishing some of my concepts/ experiences in development interventions.
