Deadly Leeches

For most of his life, Carl had no idea that he was to become a ruthless villain. Most villains don't, I'm sure, but as I've never been one yet, I can't say absolutely. The way he kissed his wife before he set off for work was truly innocent and the way that he greeted his neighbor was genuinely friendly. Notwithstanding, this was the day that his heart would be shrouded in the blackest of evil.
