Daniel Malone

I'm a late 20's guy who has accomplished nothing other than being a father. I've always immersed myself in the arts, be it music, literature, or film. I'm a song-writer, vocalist, keyboardist, and drummer, none of which do I have any aspirations of doing professionally. After delaying for 10 years, I'm on my way back to further my education. It's a harsh reality when you realize that you couldn't beat the odds and become successful without discipline. It's not impossible. It was just impossible for me. I know this sounds gloomy, but I'm a generally happy guy. (Maybe a little brooding at times, but I'm only human.) I've been writing songs, and poetry for years, but I have recently decided to tackle a novel (possibly a novella or novelette. I haven't decided for sure yet, but it feels like a novel to me.) I thought this would be a fun way to read other amateur works, both for enjoyment and inspiration. I also wouldn't mind feedback that isn't tainted by personal relationships.
