Hello there and welcome to my profile. i am a new writer, i started writing about March of 2007, at the moment im writing a Fantasy style Science Fiction story called Niroth's Fable, the book is about two Coalitions colliding over Religion and rules. There are the Sabrillians and the Nomads, both have other smaller parties attached and they have been at war of many centuries now. well ill post it so you can read for yourself if you do so desire. I like to liken to rock music, i drum, i love my heavy stuff and i create cinematic s in my head that go well with the music, which i then describe and add to my story, i do martial arts and i do a lot of the choreography that goes into the book, i also draw and intend to add artwork and visions of my artwork into my story to help with visualizing the battles, the structures and the culture and people. i wish to break a few boundaries, such as the typical good versus evil, i am trying to make both factions have a dark side to themselves and they both think they are fighting for the correct cause, the other boundaries are such as wizards, they can shoot electricity from their staffs or hands but yet .... their civilizations haven't seemed to of been able to harness it, our world when it was discovered electricity there were leaps and bounds made in scientific studies that have progressed and built on our knowledge of the cosmos and everything around us, plus i hate the fact all medieval warfare is either in perfectly built castles or grassy fields, so i have gone fore ruins and urban warfare to show how war has effected everyone, even the land and structures built by ancients.
i seem to like war... especially Medieval ... so much more honor and skill, every wave of the sword its own dance rather than a sub machine gun where its more like a rave, you don't know whats going on and you might get a lucky shot in... no thanks, i prefer my swords (i got 5 :D) i teach martial arts (weapons) to lil kiddies and one 45 year old :) ... you know who you are.
i have read the Horus heresy by the black Library and draw a lot of inspiration from them, they are the main reason i started to write this story.
i originally thought of this when i was 13 whilst playing Legend Of Mir for all those who knew it i was called "Spells", crappy name i know but hey, i first though ... how cool would it be to make my own game, mold my own world ... i did years of research and hundreds of plans for it i got about 10 mates who were all in on the idea with me ... although i was the only one who did the work :S, i thought id ask some professional advice on my drawings and ideas so i sent off a portfolio at the age of 15, and don't worry none of the pictures i've shown were in it, i've got loads better. well they got back to me about 2 months after i sent it off ... they told me it was a good idea and they liked two of the characters i created and asked if i could make history behind them ... so i did sent that off .... read Horus rising which they sent me and ... well i started to write.
