About Me

Jackielyn Ched. 28. Female. Manila, Philippines. A Writer, SEO specialist, and a Team Leader for Optfirst. I am also the show notes writer at OncePodcast.com

My personal blog is but I keep another blog where I write all my brain farts at (see website). I love to dance, it is also the main reason why I chose the handle I am using right now. I believe that dance is one, if not THE best way to express emotions without having the need to say a word.

I didn't realize how much I love to write until I had my first article published in my favorite teen glossy. Since then, the then Editor-in-Chief told me I could write and hired me to be an intern. While it may "just" be a "teen glossy", I learned so much about writing, fashion, beauty and life. It is also where I discovered my love for writing stories that capture my heart. I continued contributing several articles even after graduating from college but I haven't had any articles published in about three or four years now. I guess SEO and show notes writing ripped me from my fashion duties.

At the moment, I work for an internet marketing company as a Team Leader, writer and SEO specialist. I am used to and enjoys keyword-based writing, even if the task sometimes get a little too monotonous. I am also working for ONCEPodcast at the moment as a show notes writer. Imagine writing an article (as opposed to transcribing) while your favorite morning radio show is going on-air, and it has to be finished the same time the show ends. Yup, that's what I do.

Off duty, I love writing about whatever is going on in my life. I write poems every once in a while, although I'm pretty sure I suck at poem writing. I also like, and aspires to actually, writing stories based on my personal experiences. I really hope I could write my own book someday. I believe there's something important that needs to be said there.

I signed up for Writer's Cafe not really to gain another client (although that would be great, too), but to just share my own writings; ones that I wrote not for my clients but for myself. These are all perfect reflections of what I feel at the time of writing, and I hope that someone out there will come out and say, "I feel you" too one day.

Take care, y'all!
