I love the photo of you and the masks...I've always liked them too. I have some half face masks and its amazing how different you look with the just the top part of your face different from the lower half.

Also thank you so much for the lovely review of my work :)

thank you again, for "wait...be still" - I DID make an evoca of this piece. However, I can't seem to get it to work properly on the page. I'll keep trying, though, because i do love how reading it out loud can add something to a piece

i think that was by far the most astute thing anyone noticed from that piece... i didn't even realize it myself. you made me read my writing all over again, in a new light. because you're right - there is no anger to it. and i think that is a sign of moving on. it's saying 'yes, you're going to keep hurting me, but i'm not going to just keep fighting futilely against you"
