I'm going to tell you one thing right now - YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET AN A*S KISSING REVIEW FROM ME UNLESS YOU'VE EARNED IT!!! When I write a review, I tell it like it is. If it was great, I'll tell you it's great. If it's not, I'll tell you it's not. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of these childish e-bashers that's going to piss all over your work with generic, childish insults like "it's suck," and so on, but what I am going to give you is an honest, and hopefully constructive review. If you're not helping a person recognize their weaknesses as a writer, than you're not helping them at all. In fact, you're hurting them. It's the equivalent of telling a person they're a great driver, when they're driving down the freeway the wrong way. Cutting straight to the chase, if you can't handle an honest criticism (Mich^^l L^Sa^^e!!), than stay the Hell away from me. However, if you want an honest, level headed review, and enjoy giving honest, level headed reviews (I hope for the same constructive criticism) than I look forward to working with you.
And just to get it out of the way, I already have one a*****e on my Friends List who expects everyone to review his work, yet doesn't take the time to review anyone else's - I don't need a second. And just for s***s and giggles, try to guess who it is (hint: towards the end).
With all that said and done, here's my bio: I've officially become everything that I hate - not only a published author, but a published EROTICA author. My story, "Claire", will be published in the Caged Heart Publishing Erotic Anthology.
As far as my life story goes, I'm originally from Massachusetts, than had a brief and regrettable stint in South Carolina, and am now living in Uiwang, South Korea while studying for my masters and eventual PhD in Medieval European History. With the exception of some romances here and there, that's about as exciting as my life has gotten.
But even though there is a lot more I want to accomplish in my life, I am still thankful for the life that I have. Now let me take the time to thank the people who help made it all the better: Mom, Dad, Annette, Bobby, my sister, Laurice, my brother Tommy (live on brother), Friedrich Nietzsche and Anton LaVey (for helping me feel confident and good about myself in the face of preachy, self-righteous a******s who want to do nothing besides make the people around them feel like s**t), Shihan Dennis and everyone at Eclectic Karate (for giving me the power to kill and providing me with a cheap form of stress relief), for the artists who inspired my life (Salvidor Dali, David Lynch, etc.) and for the musicians who helped me get through some of the hardest times (Eisbrecher, Metallica, etc.).
And not for all the people who accomplished nothing besides making my life miserable - the a******s who made an awkward, painful, lonely high school experience, surprisingly more awkward, painful, and lonely; the back stabbers who left me in my darkest hour to fend for myself; the scum who walked into my life when I didn't need them, yet weren't there when I did; anyone and everyone who ever told me I'm going to Hell for simply being the person that I am, and refusing to be anyone that I'm not; the s**t heads who kicked me in the teeth, then guilt tripped me into apologizing when they cut their toe against my incisor; the cowards and forum leaches who e-bashed my work with three word phrases that even monkies would consider juvenile; the publishing houses who judge a writer by how talented he looks, rather than how talented he is; the smug college activists who taught me that idealism, name calling and peer pressure are synonymous with practicality, understanding, and tolerance; to any artist, singer, film maker, speaker, or whatever that's ever pissed me off; yet first and foremost, anyone and everyone who has ever built up my dreams only to take my money and run - I would never give any of you the joy of recognizing you by your birth name.
