Catherine O'neill

I was born in Alaska. I was raised as an Air Force brat and had the opportunity to live overseas in the Azores, Portugal, where I learned how the other half lives. Not too well by the way. One of my professors in college helped me to see the beauty in poetry. I love nature, so I like to use a lot of imagery in my writing. I love Keats, Yeats, Dylan Thomas, Sylvia Plath, Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, and Dr. Suess, among others. I truly believe that poetry can change the world, comfort souls, and describe the mysteries of life better than any other genre of literature. Thanks for sharing your writing and reading mine.
