About Me
I'm a mother of 3 beautiful girls ranging from ages 12 down to 3 so my hands are pretty full. I work part time during the nights and Saturday mornings and my husband always has plans for us during the weekends. Which leaves me little time to write but its the only thing I know I want to do. Can't imagine going into the full time work force when my youngest starts school but I know I must. Would rather write.
My first published book, Everlasting Love, ISBN# 1-4137-3726-9, was not a big success but then again, I stopped promoting it shortly after its release due to the publisher and the cost. But it has taught me a lot about the business of publishing and the writing world in general. I have been working on a new novel, a historical fiction, for the past 3 years. It was inspired by the death of an innocent girl in the year 1813; the death is the only thing not made up, the rest completely fictional. When its ready I plan on self publishing only because I don't think there is a huge demand for the type of book it is. Historical yes, but its not a romance, not a thriller, not a suspense, but yet at the same time a little of all of the above!
I love reading magazines such as Writer's Digest and Writer's Journal and am a member of the Writer's Digest Book Club because I'm always in search of books that can guide me along my journey. Other than writing, my other favorite hobby is scrapbooking but then again I do suppose that scrapbooking also requires being creative! I'm a huge 80s fan, more like 80s freak!
