Do you sometimes suffer from last minute, yet ingenious plot ideas?

"

It's common for writers to obtain ideas when they are trying to sleep, when their sub-conscious starts to take over and actually think. My advise is to not sit there, hoping you remember it in the morning, but keeps a note pad, journal, or whatever you'd use to write your ideas, and give a brief description of what you thought of, and see how it works with the plot.
