The Lyrical Song
The Lyrical Song in a poem is the heart of it- a small voice inside the poem that gives it life. It's really easy once you get writing, but it's hard to explain if you just listen to me talking- or typing in this case. The Lyrical Song is the beauty of poetry, what makes each poem sound so song-like and pure. Basically, the Lyrical Song of a poem is it's voice.

For example, the Lyrical Song in this poem is giving you the vignette of a golden-silver, wispy dream that is dancing in a foggy sky, on a rainy day, without stopping.
"Dreams are golden, wispy, silver,
they dance around the clouds,
the rain slides down from the sky,
the dreams neverstopping
begin to slow down"
If you'd actually wanted to paint a picture of a sunny day and the butterflies are fluttering around, a poem you could write would be similar to this:
"Their iridescent wings fluttering through the sky,
Pink, Blue, Purple.
The sun shines brightly up on high,
Yellow, Orange, Red.
The grass sways in a waltz of a dance,
Green, Olive, Mint.
The sky is filled with puffy clouds,
White, Sapphire, Blue."
So you see, the Lyrical Song is a humming voice deep inside, giving the piece of writing a lively rhythm and tune. It's sort of like a song, but it's beautiful, precise, clear and angelic.
