In order to make your stories better, you need to start with creating the idea for a story. The best way to do so is with a Writers Journal. This can be written or typed and can be used for exercises, spreading your story, and ideas. As you read this course, I suggest that you complete the exercises. Also, as you write, I challenge you to complete the exercises for the story that you are working on.
