Learn how to pick a topic

Picking a topic is sometimes the hardest part of writing. The topic has to be something that interests you or has something to do with you, if you dont know about the topic or its boring to you then the poem/song wont be good. Here are some ideas to get you started:

love

friendship

family

school

work

depression

nature

sometimes the topics can be random. Maybe its about a boy/girl you saw at the supermarket and you liked their eyes. Or sometimes it will be about a loss of a friend or family member, your boyfriend or girlfriend, or friends. Its up to you, and what interests you, but dont be afraid of your topic.
