Step One The goals are different for everyone, depending on their style of writing and the genre. You don't need to write them down, just remember the little things.
Step Two Create questions - (and answers if wanted) - for the reader. Set a mood, (romantic, dark, horrifying, ect.) And finally, stanza helps alot. Top off the poem with alittle personal charm. Create a stanza, that you think would be applied to the poem. And Example: Fall time is here, Time for sorrow. Leaves F A L L Down south, Birds fly North...
