having a clear storyline

i dont have much info on storylines, but ill do my best

What really helps me in my storys is having a few clear points that need to happen in every chunk/chapter. Then i can play around with it as much as i want as long as i met the points. try it out, it really works wonders.

Another thing that improves your story is having other challenges leading up to a blowout and then slowly get calmer. i dont know about you, but i find that i get more hooked on stories if they have lots of action leading up to a twist. it makes reading a little more fun.
