Be careful and respectful on all souls day.

Walkin back down that road.....a ghost returns

Do not sleep near the door on All Souls Day....You`ll be kicked by the Ghost of the house.
Thats what we were warned about in childhood days.....and I know it now to be true.
Its like they are doin an inspection of their former abode....
so keep the pathways clear for them to roam about....
You have inherited what once was their....and they want to see if you are worthy ...no doubt!

Again, I found this charming. Much like a child's story of ghosts. Not too horrifying for them to bare, but just tingly enough to excite them.
I am fascinated by the words.. And different cultures as well. Is this a story that is really told to them?

i did read Ghobran's piece about children, it was as good in arabic as it was in english, divine. this piece does remind me of it

This reminds of Kahlil Gibran and his verse about children...

'You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow'
