An acrostic is a poem that describes a word using the letters in the word as the first letter in the description.

Can be helpful.

Or your acrostic can be one word per line that have nothing to do with each other except for the word being described. Finally, it can rhyme, but that's very hard. If you're stuck and have no clue what word(s) to use, try to make a diagram: words that start with A: Ab: Abstract, or A: Ac: Actual, and so on. If you're still stuck move on and look up synonyms for a different word describing the word, then see if a synonym for it starts with the letter you need.
