I want everybody to think about what poet is. What makes you a poet and what makes your writing poetry.

Do you write poetry out of boredom?
Do you write poetry because you can?
Do you write poetry because if you did not, oxygen would never come?
Do you write poetry because if you didn't your soul would have withered a long time of ago?
Do you write poetry because words continually rush through your veins until you can write your blood, sweat, and tears onto the blank pages of life?

Why should I call any of you a poet?
