Visions of Spring Time
Written By April Cinq-Mars

Visions of spring time,
Paints a picture in my mind.
So vividly,
That I can actually smell
The fresh aroma,
Of the spring flowers.
Which are emerging from,
The thawing earth.
As the cold winter air, gently warms
And the sunlight brings,
New life to the trees.
Mother nature, is once again
Giving birth
Spring time is near,
The grey skies of winter
Are turning crystal blue,
with cotton like clouds
of white and pink
And beautiful bouquets
Of tulips and daffodils
Fills the canvas, in my imagination
With a rainbow of colors,
This portrait in my mind
Is so life like
I can almost feel the sensation
of walking barefoot
In a carpet of plush green grass
And hear the sounds
Of birds singing their morning song
